Window cum Plain Lamination Machine with cold (water based) adhesive and plain film combination to laminate paper and box based packaging products and articles.
It is used to laminate with Polyester/PVC/BOPP films. Traditionally BOPP is the most widely used film in packaging and printing industry due to its wide availability and eco-friendly nature.
Window application is extremely useful and relevant today to improve the marketing and aesthetic appeal of the product to the consumer. It finds applications today in food (bakery, sweets), consumer electronics, consumables (pens, sarees, dress materials, candles, clothes).
Underlying principle of plain and window is the same except for both there is a difference in gumming application. In normal plain lamination gum comes from top through gum section on film and then pressure helps paste the film on paper or board to complete process,
In window application, gum section is under the feeding section and printed article is fed to the machine in inverted form (printed side down), Gum is applied on paper or board and film is applied on board. Please note that the paper or board must be window cut before application and clear paste of film keep the portion of cut clean and clear to make real use of window process possible.
